Supporting Someone After Sexual Violence

When someone you love has experienced sexual violence, it can be hard to know what to do or say.
Many supporters carry fear, helplessness, or the feeling of “doing it wrong”,  often in silence.

This space is also for you.

Who This Is For

This offering is for:

  • parents
  • partners
  • close friends
  • chosen family
  • anyone supporting a person affected by sexual violence

You don’t need to have the “right words”.
You don’t need to be strong all the time.

What We Can Explore Together

In these sessions, there is space to gently explore:

  • how to support without overwhelming or pushing
  • what helps — and what can unintentionally harm
  • how trauma can affect behaviour, emotions, and closeness
  • how to take care of your own nervous system
  • how to hold boundaries while staying connected

This is not about blame or perfection — but about understanding and care.
